Women and Girls Network (WGN) is a specialist therapeutic service leading in developing and delivering innovative and effective counselling services for women and girls who have experienced all forms of gender-based violence. We aim to ensure that we proactively provide services, which meet the needs of the women and girls who access them.

We are now looking for a Counselling Team Leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of WGN’s counselling team and working collaboratively with our Senior Clinical Team to support the coordination of our comprehensive therapeutic service provision.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting and supervising team members, promoting an environment which underpins and encourages self-care, wellbeing and resilience, and in undertaking recruitment, induction, professional development and performance related activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with managerial experience to join WGN, a leading multi-cultural feminist organisation, in a non-clinical role.

Employee benefits include 3% pension contribution, enhanced leave entitlement and an Employee Assistance Programme.

We welcome and encourage applications from women of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic communities.
