Gateway Sexual Violence Lines Workers (Female Applicants Only)

Starting salary £28,000 per annum, pro-rata for part-time posts | 1 full-time (35 hours per week) and 2 part-time (21 hour per week) posts available | Permanent

These roles will initially involve regular office based (South & West London), as well as travel across London and community based and remote working. It is anticipated that this will evolve overtime in line with Service Users and organisational requirements

Women and Girls Network (WGN) are looking for three experienced Lines Workers to join our highly successful London Gateway Survivors Service.

As a Lines Worker you will provide one-off and short term emotional, practical and advocacy support to survivors of sexual violence, their supporters and relevant professionals. You will provide advice, information and support over a helpline and will also provide consultation and advice to professionals who are working with cases involving violence against women and girls (VAWG).  

We are looking for highly motivated, passionate individuals with experience of supporting vulnerable people, preferably within the VAWG or similar sectors. The successful candidates will have exceptional communication skills, strong IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, telephone focused role.
