We have worked hard alongside young women to develop our young women centred approach and are always looking to share our learning, knowledge and skills with other professionals.

Getting support for a young woman you are working with

A referral form for our service can be downloaded below and emailed back to us by any professional. The young woman must have given her prior consent for you to contact us. If you have not got consent, you are welcome to call us for advice or guidance, but we ask that you please don’t share any personal details about someone else with us unless you have their consent.

You can call our Advice Line on 0808 801 0660 or email us directly at ywa@wgn.org.uk

Training and guidance

Women and Girls Network is an accredited training centre and we have developed a range of training programmes centred around the experiences of young women.

See our training page for more information or contact us if you would like to access/commission training for your organisation or school.

The Young Women’s Service also offer free consultations and guidance to professionals worried about a young woman. Please contact us via email at ywa@wgn.org.uk.

Report - Seeing the Inner Me

With funding from the Centre for Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse we created this report to support improved evaluation processes in work with young people. We held focus groups and interviews with 38 young women in West London, to understand what young women want in school and community based child sexual exploitation (CSE) services, what outcomes young women want these services to help them achieve, and how WGN’s existing model of support can be improved to better reflect young women’s needs and aspirations. This report captures some of the key learning from the project, to share beyond our organisation to inspire improved intersectional young-women centred practice across services. You can download the report below.

Our waiting list is currently closed in the following boroughs:

Hillingdon, Hounslow, Harrow, Westminster, Hammersmith and Fullham, Kensington and Chelsea, Ealing, Brent, Bromley, Southwark, Lambeth and Croydon.
